5/5WhirlwindI got to Zoara first on a google sponsored ad somewhere in a search. I was looking for a pear cut diamond engagement ring for my girlfriend of 3 years. I went to one of the online stores and I found a pear cut diamond ring and everything checked out and I ordered it. The company sent me a marquise cut by accident and I was really dumbfounded. I called them and they told me that whoever was putting the piece together made a mistake and offered to replace it free of charge. They had the gall though to make me pay for shipping it back to them. I told them that if they wouldn't pay for the shipping, I was just going to return it and demand my money back. Long story short, I returned the marquise cut diamond ring and went back to Zoara and ordered a very similar ring they had. Before I ordered the engagement ring from them I called them and asked them what their policy is if they happen to send me the wrong diamond. They told me it never happened before. I didn't think that the same thing would happen twice and I trusted them. In the end, I got my pear cut and for 90 dollars cheaper than the other store.April 24, 2008Author: Martin B.
