My name is Leah Walker. I am a 35 year old mom of one, a 15 year old daughter. I have been married for 16 years to my high school sweetheart. Our relationship wasn't without sadness in the beginning as we were both told early on in our lives that we would neither one ever have kids. My husband had

Hodgkin's Disease (cancer of the lymph nodes) as a child and I have had severe cysts on my ovaries since I was very young. Anyway, our daughter was quite a surprise when we were only 18 years old and not yet married. She was a true blessing from God and we quickly got married and made a life with our daughter. We are now working to get our daughter graduated from high school, which will be in two short years. I deliver mail part time to work towards a full time route someday to help pay for her college and hubby works in the oilfield.

I am so thankful to Zoara Diamonds. I've not got good luck when it comes to jewelry apparently. Twelve years ago, I was in a rollover car accident with my sister and our two small children on our way to church. She turned around to check on her one year old son, ran off the road, and over-corrected causing the tires on my side to blow out and make us flip. Everyone was okay except for me. I had broken two of my fingers when they went out the sunroof midflip and when we landed, even though I was wearing my seatbelt, my leg was out the window and bent behind me trapped under the upside down car. It took them an hour to get it off and another hour to find the pulse in my foot.

They weren't sure for a couple of days if I would be able to keep it. Sadly, one of the fingers that had been broken was my ring finger. My engagement ring had a diamond so small I'm pretty sure it was just dust and my wedding band was less than $50 from Wal Mart but they meant the world to me. They were crushed along with my fingers. They were able to pretty much put my fingers back together but not my rings. The rings actually helped in that they made a clean break in my ring finger so it was much easier to fix than my middle finger, which I still don't have full use of. My jewelry curse continued as three years ago when we moved to the small town we live in now I lost my entire bag of jewelry. It wasn't much but it was all I had, including my senior ring I wanted to give my daughter.

In comes Zoara like a white knight. Hehe. I never expected to win something like the gorgeous diamond heart necklace I won. It took me a few days to get home to my beautiful necklace because it came while I was in CA visiting my youngest sister. She is in the Navy, stationed in San Diego. We went to visit her as she just got engaged and will be deployed for 8 months, making her miss several holidays. We are a very close family so we had to at least see her now. We got to see her ship and even see her reenlist in the Navy. I am incredibly proud of her and thankful to her and her shipmates for all they do to defend our freedom.

I enter blog giveaways to win gifts for birthdays and holidays to help out with expenses in the household. I enter bigger things but don't win, until now. I was blown away by the win, and again when I got the necklace. I honestly expected it to be really big as I didn't look at the dimensions of it. I'm not a flashy person so I was quite pleasantly surprised when it was small, the perfect size for me. It came quickly, neatly wrapped in a gorgeous gift box, and the people at Zoara have been unbelievably nice. I was even given a choice in gold colors. What kind of place does that? They had already given me the win, but to give me a choice too was above and beyond incredible.

I can't explain how grateful I am to again have a nice piece of jewelry in my, well drawer. I don't have a box for it just yet. I have been collecting cheap pieces as I go to try and make up a little collection as I was left with nothing after the move. I deeply appreciate Zoara and all they do for people like me. They are quite a company in my eyes.

Thanks,
Leah Walker
